The cursed blood that ran down to her finger tips, dripping to the floor with small, inaudible splashes. It was deep red in colour, flowed easily and endlessly from the blade which made the wounds in the body of the sacrifice.
A small girl stood. She held the sharpened pocket knife in her blood stained hand. Yet her emotionless face showed no remorse for her actions and the life lost.
She followed the actions of her ancestors. A curse that ran through her family caused her to act this way. However the girl never questioned it. Blood, screams and death had become a scene she was used to.
If she had known the curse lay within her actions, would she have tried so hard to rid herself of it?

Yes, it's a horror story. Something very different to what I usually write.
